Three scanners attached to computers with graphics software are available near the 2nd Floor Computing Commons.  Perfect for the more advanced user who wants to control settings or someone with many things to scan. Can also scan negatives and slides.

Printers

Black & white and color printers are located on the 2nd floor of the library.

Copiers

A color copy machine is located on the 2nd floor and in the Makery.

Depending on your project, you may be directed to a specific copier. We offer letter, legal and tabloid paper sizes.

Microfilm/fiche Printers and Readers

Our scanner provides extensive editing and image enhancement capabilities along with the ability to print, create high quality images (PDF, JPG, TIFF, etc), email, save to USB, save to google drive, annotate images and highlight articles.

Accessibility Equipment/Software

We have a variety of equipment from a large type keyboard to a table that raises and lowers to accommodate a wheelchair. Click here for more information.

VHS to DVD Converter

Convert your VHS home movies to DVD using this Toshiba DVR620 converter. You provide the DVD-Rs, with storage space equal to the number of minutes on your VHS home movies. The machine works in “real time” as it converts your data. For example, one hour of video will take one hour to convert. Free. VHS-DVD Instructions

Search the catalog for “VHS” to check availability of the converters.

A self-authored VHS tape that has not been published commercially may be converted into any other format, such as DVD, in single or multiple copies. Reproducing or converting a commercial movie is an infringement of copyright.

CD/DVD Duplicator

The DVD/CD Duplicator is a standalone device that allows you to make an exact copy of a DVD or CD without the need of a computer. The duplicator is available near the 2nd Floor Computing Commons.

Slide and Film Scanner

Wolverine F2D Titan film to digital converter for 135, 127, 126 negatives and slides, 110 negatives, 110 slides, 8mm/Super 8 mm film, APS negatives, and Library film. Save images to SD/SDHC card. Available for use in the Creative Studio.

Cassette to CD/Digital Convertor

The TASCAM CD recorder and cassette deck allows recording and playback of digital compact discs and analog cassettes. Available for use in the Creative Studio.

LP to Digital Convertor

LP to Digital: Numark USB Turntable (TTUSB). The TTUSB connects directly to a computer to turn vinyl recordings into digital music. Available for use in the Creative Studio.

Elgato Video Capture

Digitize video from a VCR for playback and editing on Mac or PC. Skip the DVD creation process altogether and digitize your homemade videos into a shareable format. See instructions here. Available for use in the Creative Studio.
